A Note of Gratitude

A Note of Gratitude

  • 11/17/25

As Thanksgiving arrives, I find myself reflecting on what truly shapes a meaningful year — the people who add purpose, joy, and connection to it. Whether we’ve worked together on a home, shared a conversation, collaborated as colleagues, or supported one another from afar, please know how deeply grateful I am for you. Your trust, encouragement, and presence have been a steady bright spot in my life this year.

This season always reminds me to slow down and savor the small things that make the Twin Cities feel like home. From crisp morning walks around Wayzata Bay, to cheering on runners in the Turkey Day 5K, to shopping small at the Dayton's Project for early festive magic, Thanksgiving here has its own special rhythm.

Also fun is visiting the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum’s Winter Lights and picking up treats from local favorites like Diane's Place to share around the table. It is simple traditions that always help me reconnect to a sense of gratitude, community, and warmth with family.

However you’re spending the holiday — gathering around a crowded table, traveling to loved ones, or enjoying a quiet weekend at home — I hope this season brings you rest, comfort, and moments that feel like a deep breath.

Thank you for being part of my world this year. I appreciate you more than you know, and I look forward to everything we’ll build, celebrate, and discover together in the months ahead.

Wishing you and yours a joyful and meaningful Thanksgiving.

With gratitude,
Lynn Burn
